Are You Missing Opportunities?

sfondo porta 3Over the past few months, I’ve been working on TV projects where much of my time was spent researching guests, experts, coaches, and instructors.  I was amazed at how many professionals still do not have at least one online video that showcases their business and talents.  In this digital age, it is a must-have tool for anyone in business.  Believe it or not, if I had a prospect, but they were too hard to find or didn’t have an online video, I moved on to the next person.  It was important for me to see how people presented on camera before making the call.  Those that didn’t have an online video missed a great opportunity.

so my question to you is, “Are you possibly missing opportunities by not having online video?”  If you’re in business, a video is just as important as having a website.  It’s time to upgrade your marketing if you want to gain more clients and standout.  Telling your story will open many doors for you.  Here are five points your business video should include.

  • A simple introduction of your business and what you do
  • What motivated you to start this business?
  • What makes your business unique?
  • How would you describe your customers?
  • Call to action.  Your business location if you have one, phone number, website and social media tags.

It should be shorty, straight to the point and energetic.  If you have issues with being on camera there are online resources available to help you with a basic video.  One popular site is www.animoto.com.  It’s a cookie-cutter program, but a good place to start.  If you wish for coaching and a more customized video, contact me @ 313.410.4121.
